Children ages 4-7 will receive 2 Library Dollars to spend in the Library Store for every 20 books they read and record!

Children ages 8-11 will receive 2 Library Dollars to spend in the Library Store for every 10 books they read and record!

This program is designed for 13- to 18-year-olds to encourage life-long reading habits. Participants receive 5 points for every book they read.  Prizes will be awarded to those who have reach 3, 6, 9, & 12 books levels.  Those who have read twelve will be in the running for one of our two grand prize drawings which includes a Capybara squishy and a Quetzalcoatl t-shirt.  Check out the Young Adult section over the summer to participate in our digital scavenger hunt:  Journey through Xibalba.

Read 1000 Books! 

Our library has a new program that encourages families to read 1,000 books with their children before they enter kindergarten. 

Parents: You can create an account for yourself first and then you can add additional accounts for each of your children. That way you will have the ability to easily monitor your child's activity without having to login as each child.
